Marital Status
Overview
The ACS presents data on people's current marital status, how many people's status changed in the last year, and their marital history.
The ACS asks questions about people's marital status and marital history to help understand marriage trends, and, when combined with other data, to help communities understand if the available social services and programs are meeting residents’ needs.
All data sources are from the American Community Survey unless otherwise noted.
